Behavior Interventionist / Registered Behavior Technician (School-Based)
Location: Ramona, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $23–$30 per hour (based on experience and skill set)

We are seeking qualified Behavior Interventionists and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to work in school-based settings in the Ramona, CA area. These are full-time positions supporting students across a range of grade levels and behavioral needs. Schedules will vary depending on the assigned student’s school hours.

Position Requirements (Applicable to Both Roles):

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children

• Background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

• Experience working with students who exhibit behaviors ranging from mild to severe

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to follow behavior intervention plans under supervision

• Must pass required background checks and meet school district compliance standards

• Active RBT certification preferred for RBT candidates

Duties – Behavior Interventionist:

• Implement behavior support strategies in the classroom under the direction of school staff or a behavioral supervisor

• Provide 1:1 support to students during academic and social activities

• Assist with emotional regulation, redirection, and behavior de-escalation as needed

• Track and document behavioral observations and student progress

• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to promote positive behavioral outcomes

Duties – Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):

• Deliver direct ABA therapy and behavior intervention services under the supervision of a BCBA

• Follow individualized behavior intervention plans and treatment goals

• Collect and submit accurate behavioral data in accordance with BACB standards

• Participate in progress reviews and make recommendations for plan adjustments

• Maintain compliance with all ethical guidelines and RBT credentialing requirements
