Job Description
Wonderful community hospital and the only hospital providing emergency and ambulatory care to the densely populated, culturally and economically diverse, and medically underserved populations of the Rockaways and Five Towns in southern Queens County and southwestern Nassau County, New York, is currently seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join their team. CT (Computer Tomography) Technologist (Full Time and Part Time roles available).
Shift: Days
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $52.58 – $57.23 per hour
Responsibilities:
The CT Technologist performs routine radiographic and interventional radiographic procedures in accordance with the technologist training and license. Prepares and administers oral contrast for patient consumption. Prepares and maintains records and files as required.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree preferred
- Formal radiological technologic training from an accredited school
- Previous experience as a Radiology Tech preferred
- Previous experience with PACS, RIS, EMR, CR, OR, ER, DRX, CT and Meditech preferred
- Valid NYS Radiological Technologist license, registered through
- A.R.R.T (CT certification) DOH license injection privileges required
