Job Description

Content and Social Media Specialist – Manila, Philippines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Canva, Buffer).
  • Basic knowledge of SEO, analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and content management systems (CMS).
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with paid social media campaigns and influencer collaborations.
  • Graphic design or video editing skills are a plus.
  • Familiarity with brand voice development and content calendars.

  • Graveyard shift (9pm to 6am PH Time), Mondays to Fridays
  • Full time, Probationary – Regular contract

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute content strategies aligned with brand and marketing objectives.
  • Create, edit, and publish high-quality content for social media, blogs, newsletters, and other digital platforms.
  • Manage and grow the company’s presence across key social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok).
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and apply them to increase campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., design, marketing, product) to ensure content consistency and alignment.
  • Track and analyze content performance metrics and social media KPIs; prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Engage with the online community, respond to comments/messages, and foster positive interactions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging platforms.
