School Nurse Supervisor

Salary Range: $105,000 – $115,000 per year

Location: New York, NY
Hybrid – 4 days onsite / 1 day remote weekly, including field visits to schools throughout NYC

Position Summary

As a School Nurse Supervisor, you will oversee and support school nurses placed throughout New York City schools while ensuring quality patient care, compliance, and professional development. This role combines leadership, field support, orientation, and training responsibilities to help maintain high clinical and operational standards across multiple school sites. Responsibilities

Schedule / Shift

• Shift details: Day shift
• Schedule: Full-Time Hybrid
• Field work required at schools throughout all NYC boroughs

Key Duties

• Supervise all school nurses staffed by RCM Health Care Services throughout New York City
• Conduct consistent field visits at school locations across all boroughs
• Hold trainings and orientations for newly hired school nurses
• Create and develop orientation and training materials
• Develop and demonstrate professionalism, collaboration, and leadership
• Foster and sustain a professional learning environment for school nurses
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to nursing staff to ensure quality care and compliance standards

Requirements

Education

• Required: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licenses & Certifications

• Required: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Preferred: School nursing experience with supervisory responsibilities

Skills

• Strong leadership and supervisory experience
• Knowledge of school nursing practices and regulations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to conduct field visits throughout New York City
• Strong organizational and training development skills
• Ability to foster professional growth and team development
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in fast-paced environments
