Respiratory Fit Tester

Position Summary
RCM Health Care is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Respiratory Fit Testers for a short-term healthcare project across Rhode Island. No prior fit testing experience is required — full training will be provided! This is a great opportunity for college students, healthcare students, or individuals looking for short-term fulltime work.

Responsibilities
Schedule / Shift
• Shift details: Days/ Evenings  
• Hours per week: Estimated 30 hrs hours / 4 days a week 
• ASAP Start Date , June 30^th End Date

Key Duties

• Conduct quantitative and/or qualitative respirator fit testing (e.g., N95, half-face, full-face respirators) in accordance with OSHA and employer protocols
• Educate employees on proper respirator use, seal checks, donning/doffing techniques, and maintenance
• Document and maintain accurate fit test records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and site-specific requirements
• Inspect respirators for proper condition and ensure correct sizing and model selection prior to testing

Education
• High School Diploma

Skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy – ensures correct testing methods, proper seal verification, and precise documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication and instructional skills – ability to clearly teach employees how to properly wear, adjust, and maintain respirators.
• Organizational and time management skills – efficiently coordinates multiple employees, schedules testing sessions, and maintains accurate records.
• Comfort working in clinical or occupational health settings – professionalism when interacting with diverse workforce populations in industrial or healthcare environments.
