Job Description
RCM Health Care is looking for an OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (OT) to provide services to 1 student who resides in zip code 19380. Services will need to be in the home. We are looking for someone to start right away, providing 60 min sessions, 1 time per week + 60 minute consults monthly, during the school year. PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO CANDIATES WHO CAN SEE STUDENT DURING SCHOOL HOURS OR IMMEDIATELY AFTER SCHOOL.

Position Summary
As a Physical Therapist you will provide in-person OT services to 1 student in their home in West Chester, PA. You will provide specialized evaluations, direct therapy services, and consultation to support students with significant physical, neurological, and multiple disabilities. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams to develop and implement individualized services that promote student access to the educational environment and support participation in school-based activities. Responsibilities

– Hours per week: 1 -60 minute sessions + 60 min consult per month + indirect time + round trip mileage
– Contract length (if applicable): School-year assignment
Key Duties
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations to assess students' sensory, motor, functional, and self-regulation needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each student's IEP goals.
- Collaborate with special education teachers, BCBAs, school psychologists, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Recommend sensory strategies, environmental modifications, adaptive equipment, and classroom accommodations to promote participation.
- Maintain accurate documentation, evaluation reports, progress notes, and Medicaid or district-required records while remaining compliant with federal and Pennsylvania regulations.
Requirements
Education
- Required: Master's Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Licenses & Certifications
- Required: Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License (or eligibility through the Pennsylvania State Board of Occupational Therapy).
- Current Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance.
- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check.
- FBI Federal Criminal History Fingerprint Clearance.
Skills
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged students, preferably in emotional support or behavioral settings.
- Knowledge of sensory processing, emotional regulation, trauma-informed practices, and school-based interventions.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to develop educationally relevant treatment plans and contribute effectively to multidisciplinary IEP teams.
