BCBA – Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Compensation: $70.00 per hour, based on experience

SUMMARY:
RCM Health Care is looking for an in-person BCBA to provide behavior analysis services at a school location. The BCBA will provide behavior management consultation, develop and implement behavior intervention plans, conduct assessments, and support students with Autism and behavioral difficulties. The BCBA will also collaborate with teachers, parents/guardians, Child Study Team members, and school staff to support student success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluation and Treatment

• Plan, prepare, and deliver treatment and intervention services, including consultation and follow-up, to students with Autism or behavioral difficulties.
• Monitor and record student progress on an ongoing basis.
• Write assessments for evaluations and provide documentation to the Child Study Team and other relevant personnel.
• Provide BCBA services as specified in IEPs or as referred by building staff or administration.
• Create and assist district staff with the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans.
• Provide ongoing consultation to Autism and Behavioral Support programs regarding resources, assessment, curriculum, data collection, and behavior management.
• Create and modify treatment plans for students on the caseload as needed.
• Train Instructional Aides on ABA and student programming.
• Conduct Functional Behavior Analysis assessments.

Communication

• Collaborate with teachers, parents/guardians, Child Study Team members, and other personnel involved in the education of students.
• Provide written home programs/notes, demonstrate treatment techniques, and participate in parent conferences as appropriate.
• Serve as a consultant to staff regarding behavior management.
• Provide teachers with classroom modifications and strategies to facilitate student success.
• Respond to inquiries regarding behavior, ABA techniques, and the Autism program from administration, staff, and parents/guardians.
• Provide or participate in parent workshops, in-district workshops, and faculty meeting presentations as needed.

General

• Prepare written materials in compliance with State, Federal, and administrative regulations, including student schedules, IEPs, IEP progress reports, goals and objectives, and PLAAFP documentation.
• Prepare for and participate in Child Study Team and parent meetings, including annual review meetings for students receiving BCBA services.
• Serve as an ad hoc member of the I&RS Team.
• Participate in staff in-service education programs and attend departmental and building staff meetings.
• Submit schedules, logs, timesheets, and other required documentation in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all special education requirements regarding referrals, evaluations, paperwork, procedures, and implementation of IEPs.
• Develop materials and provide professional learning and resources to administrators, staff, and parents/guardians regarding evidence-based methodologies for students with Autism or behavioral difficulties.
• Assist students transitioning from alternative programs to regular school programs.

Additional Responsibilities: Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the Director of Special Services or the principal may assign or delegate.
Evaluation: Performance in this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the Board of Education’s policy on supervision and evaluation of instructional personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or Master’s degree and Certification in ABA.
• Certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Must maintain credentialing in compliance with BACB requirements.
• Must complete Continuing Education courses as outlined by the BACB.
• MUST HAVE NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION CERTIFICATION
