Salary Range: $190,000 – $200,000 per year
Location: New York, NY
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days a week in NYC office and 3 days a week remote

Position Summary
RCM Healthcare Services is recruiting for an experienced Director of AI Transformation & Strategic Initiatives for an established healthcare organization in New York City. This leadership opportunity focuses on identifying, evaluating, and implementing artificial intelligence solutions to improve operational efficiency, enhance healthcare services, and support organizational innovation. The Director will lead AI initiatives, manage technology partnerships, and collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive strategic digital transformation.
Responsibilities

Key Duties

• Develop and execute AI and digital transformation strategies, identifying opportunities to improve healthcare operations, member experience, clinical decision support, and organizational efficiency.
• Lead AI pilot programs and technology implementations, overseeing project planning, stakeholder coordination, performance measurement, compliance, and evaluation of results.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and manage strategic relationships with technology vendors, solution providers, and external partners.
• Conduct market research and assess developments in generative AI, machine learning, and automation to recommend innovative solutions and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Partner with executive leadership, IT, clinical operations, compliance, and other departments to support responsible AI adoption, organizational change management, and successful implementation.

Requirements
Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field required.
• Master’s degree in a related field preferred.

Professional Experience

• 7–10+ years of experience in AI initiatives, digital transformation, healthcare technology, or innovation leadership.
• Demonstrated experience managing AI pilot programs, technology implementations, or strategic transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, health plans, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and CMS.
• Experience evaluating technology vendors, managing strategic partnerships, and leading cross-functional initiatives.

Skills

• Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, generative AI, machine learning, automation, and digital transformation strategies.
• Excellent project management, strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication, executive presentation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies, develop business cases, assess ROI, and support organizational change management.
