Job Description

Nurse Manager – Assisted Living (Registered Nurse) – Night Shift

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the AL-Nurse Manager will coordinate healthcare and wellness programs, as well as personal care services for residents in our Assisted Living or Adult Care facilities. This role involves clinical assessments, oversight, and implementation of individualized service plans developed in collaboration with residents, 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of health-related services for the Assisted Living Residence (ALR) and Assisted Living Program (ALP).
  • Participate in the assessment and screening of applicants to determine appropriateness for care.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized service plans (ISP) based on assessments.
  • Conduct assessments and reassessments to identify residents' healthcare needs and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Document resident care and changes in status.
  • Supervise program nurses and home health aides.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (BSN)
  • Current Registered Nurse New York State License
  • Experience in staff supervision and medication oversight in Assisted Living, Nursing Homes, or similar environments
  • Strong management and supervisory skills, with experience in assessments, care planning, and reassessments
  • Experience with Dementia and/or Alzheimer’s patients is a must
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing services to older adults in settings such as home care, residential care, adult care facilities, or rehabilitation

Compensation:

  • Annual salary: $115,000 – $125,000
  • Eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus (less taxes)
