Salary: $130,000 – $145,000 DOE

We are currently seeking an energetic & passionate Physical Therapist to join our team as Manager of Pediatric Rehabilitation in our new state of the art Pediatric Rehabilitation and Young Athlete Center. This dynamic setting offers the opportunity to practice in a supportive out-patient environment and collaborate with world class colleagues across multiple disciplines. In this highly visible role, you will be responsible in overseeing and leading all daily operations, planning, coordinating, and implementing strategic performance improvement for a multidisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, rehabilitation technicians and administrative professionals. As a member of our supportive interdisciplinary team, you will also have the opportunity to provide direct clinical intervention in our outpatient setting working with children ages newborn through 21.

The successful candidate will lead daily operations, including scheduling, coordinating customer service & productivity initiatives, provide direct patient care in an outpatient setting, participate in program development and educational and research endeavors. Knowledge of general hospital management and practice is preferred.  Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills coupled with excellent organization and project management skills are a must.  Reports to Senior Director, Pediatric Rehabilitation.

  • Current NYS Physical Therapy licensure
  • Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy, Masters or Doctorate preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in Pediatric Rehabilitation
  • 2+ years supervisory experience
  • Advanced computers skills: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent multi-disciplinary communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • PCS board certification, preferred.
