RCM Healthcare is hiring Behavior Therapists, Behavior Interventionists, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support students with IEPs in the Glendale, CA school district for the upcoming school year. Role Overview:
As a Behavior Therapist, Behavior Interventionist, or RBT, you will work directly with students in a one-to-one capacity to implement their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). Your role will focus on helping students meet their behavioral and educational goals through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement IEPs and BIPs using ABA strategies with at least 90% fidelity, as monitored by the LBA
- Work collaboratively with teachers and the educational team to support classroom routines
- Collect, record, and graph data on student progress
- Use QBS Safety Care de-escalation techniques and physical management when necessary for student safety
- Attend individual and group supervision sessions to ensure compliance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) supervision requirements for RBTs
Qualifications:
- Active RBT or BI certification
- Associate's degree or higher
- Knowledge of ABA strategies and understanding of developmental stages
- Empathy and strong interpersonal skills for working with children
Physical Requirements:
- This is an active, hands-on position requiring you to work closely with students in various school settings
- Must be able to manage physical interventions when necessary, as students may test boundaries
Compensation:
- $23–28/hour, based on experience
