RCM Health Care is looking for a Mental Health Counselor to work about 20 hours per month providing VIRTUAL services to school students who attend a VIRTUAL school in OREGON. This position is 100% remote.

Caseload is 6 students, and growing, direct and indirect services paid, $50/hr

Position Overview:
As a Part-Time Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will play a crucial role in providing virtual counseling services to students in Oregon. This position is ideal for a licensed and experienced mental health professional passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives and fostering a healthy school community.

Responsibilities:
Conduct virtual mental health assessments to understand students' emotional and psychological needs.
Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students, addressing a range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, and interpersonal relationships.
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other stakeholders to create a comprehensive support system for students.
Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student needs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of counseling sessions and progress notes.
Stay informed about the latest developments in the field of mental health counseling and incorporate best practices into your work.
Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Current Department of Education licensure in the state of Oregon.
• Experience providing mental health counseling services to children and adolescents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students in a virtual environment.
• Familiarity with virtual counseling platforms and technology.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in school settings or with school-aged populations.
Knowledge of the Oregon educational system and relevant regulations.
Computer proficiency, solid typing skills
