Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Hourly Rate: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour
Location: DuPage County, IL
Onsite – Long Term Care Facility
Position Summary
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents within a 5-star rated long-term care facility in DuPage County. This role supports residents’ daily living needs while ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety in a collaborative healthcare environment. Responsibilities
Schedule / Shift
- Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities available
- All shifts available:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Current greatest need: Day Shift Thursday through Monday
Key Duties
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, feeding, and dressing
- Serve meals and assist residents who are unable to feed themselves
- Perform incontinence checks every two hours
- Provide basic skin care and monitor for changes in condition
- Report unusual changes in resident conditions to the Registered Nurse (RN)
- Transfer residents safely between beds, wheelchairs, and commodes
- Obtain and record temperatures and vital signs
- Turn and reposition immobile residents every two hours
- Maintain resident rooms and living areas in a clean and orderly condition
- Support a compassionate and resident-centered care environment
Requirements
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Licenses & Certifications
- Required: Active Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License
- Required: CPR/BLS Certification
- Required: Annual Physical and PPD documentation
- Required: Gait Belt
Skills
- Minimum of two (2) years of CNA experience within a Long Term Care Facility
- Strong patient care and resident support skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Strong attention to detail and resident safety
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
