Health Benefits Consultant – Hudson Valley, NY

JOB SUMMARY
In this position, the Health Benefit Consultant will educate eligible beneficiaries on other TRICARE options.  Participate in marketing events which include group presentations, one-on-one meetings, sponsored events, and cold calls.  Develop and maintain positive working relationships with external and internal stakeholders.

You are required to have access to reliable personal transportation to travel within your assigned geographic service area. Able to lift 20 pounds.

EXPERIENCE

• 2-3 year’s experience in managed healthcare marketing & sales
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Knowledge of TRICARE programs and the Military Health System
• Ability to meet and exceed established enrollment goals/quota
• Military Experience –PREFERRED

EDUCATION/LICENSES
High School Diploma – REQUIRED
Driver License – REQUIRED
Bachelors (BA/BS) – PREFERRED
Licensed Health Insurance Agent – PREFERRED

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook
Able to operate standard office equipment… Including Copier – Scanner – Fax – Multi-Line Telephone
