UAP (Unlicensed Assistive Personnel) – Chicago Public Schools
We are hiring Full Time staff for the upcoming school year throughout the city of Chicago! RCM is actively recruiting reliable and experienced staff with either an eligible Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assist Certification. The position title is – Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP). The UAP will be responsible for performing direct student care under the directive and supervision of the HSN (Health Service Nurse) & CSN (Certified School Nurse) during the school day. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Resume
• Eligible & Active – Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant Certification
• Minimum of (1) Year Experience as a CNA or Medical Assistant
• CPR BLS Certification (Only American Heart Association Provider Accepted)
• Clear Background

ANTICIPATED & REQUIRED JOB DUTIES:

• Assist nurses with first aid and notes care provided on applicable form
• Serves as a Seizure and Diabetic Designated Care Aide (DCA) after completing DCA Training during paid orientation
• Assist nurses with medical compliance by entering physical and immunization information
• Will be assigned to Bus Routes for seizure or diabetic students as applicable
• Works cooperatively with all parents, students, nursing staff and school personnel
• Maintains a safe and healthy environments for all students
• Maintains confidentiality

SALARY:

• Pay Range: $17-$20 an hour
