Job Description
SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY ASSISTANT
Far south suburban Chicago area program looking for full time Speech Language Pathologist Assistants for the 2024 -2025 school year.
Responsibilities:
*Speech Assistant will be assigned a caseload upon mutual consider that best suits their skills and interests and the needs of the school district.
*SLPA will provide Speech and Language services to students under the direction and supervison of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
*Openings could include early learning programs though transitional classrooms with students of varying speech diagnoses.
*Monday-Friday as per school schedule. Full time opportunities available..
*Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Hold Illinois Department of Finanical and Professional Regulation license.
*Experience working collaboratively in a student-centered environment.
*1-2 years’ experience a plus. Will consider a new graduate.
*Credentials to be collected prior to and upon hire.
Work Hours:
*Follow school hours Monday-Friday; depending on the building’s hours.
*@35 hours/week.
Salary and Benefits:
*$32/hr for new grad, other salary based upon experience. Weekly pay.
