Position: Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Manager – Oncology Specialty Programs
Location: Boston, MA
Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $175k – $195k + Sign on Bonus and Benefits

Position Overview:
We are seeking an Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Manager to lead and support our client’s oncology and specialty pharmacy services. This role will oversee the day-to-day operations of ambulatory specialty pharmacy services, including managing pharmacists, pharmacy liaisons, and specialists. The Manager will ensure clinical compliance and excellence in patient care, while also playing a key role in developing new clinical programs and improving current services. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, contribute to research, and provide leadership in teaching and mentoring pharmacy staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop clinical pharmacy services in oncology and specialty areas (GI, Rheumatology, Infectious Disease)
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes and cost-effective care
  • Oversee the management of specialty drug services and ensure compliance with clinical and operational standards
  • Provide leadership for strategic growth of oncology and specialty pharmacy services
  • Participate in hospital committees and support quality improvement initiatives
  • Manage clinical billing, drug utilization, and budget performance
  • Precept pharmacy residents and contribute to ongoing education efforts

Requirements:

  • BS or Doctor of Pharmacy degree (Master's in related field preferred)
  • Active pharmacy licensure in Massachusetts or pending reciprocation
  • Board Certification in a specialty area (BCOP, BCPS) preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate training or relevant work experience in Hematology/Oncology/Specialty care
  • Leadership experience in a clinical pharmacy setting
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
