Job Description

Large healthcare program located in the Bronx, that specializes in caring for the elderly population is currently seeking a Clinic Nurse to join their team. Clinic Nurse (Registered Nurse) – Bronx, NY 
Salary: 108k-112k

The RN Clinic Nurse assists Physicians I Nurse Practitioners in the clinic. Provides direct care by performing comprehensive health assessments. Performs duties such as delivering patient care, administrating treatments, monitoring vital signs, performing tests, handling medical emergencies, and recording patient behavior.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assesses participant’s physical and functional needs, along with psychosocial status and needs, utilizing professional knowledge, skills of observations and interviewing skills. 

  • Develops and implements care components and works with other team members to develop a comprehensive Interdisciplinary team plan of care based on the needs of participant and caregivers, and goals mutually acceptable to the participant/family and significant others. 

  • Documents changes in the participant’s condition and details care provided by completing all required documentation and ensuring compliance to company standards and policies. 

  • Monitors effectiveness and outcomes regularly and keeps the team informed as to participant progress and level of need. 

  • Regularly informs the interdisciplinary team of the medical, functional, and psychosocial condition of each participant. 

  • Assumes responsibility for continued professional growth, such as in-service programs. 

Qualifications

  • Formal Education – Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience – 1 year preferred experience as a nurse in a clinic or skilled nursing facility
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
  • License, Registration, and I or Certification Requirement  – NY State RN License Required
  • Minimum Knowledge – Requires advanced knowledge of a specialized or technical field or a thorough knowledge of the practices and techniques of a professional field.

Salary – $108,000 – $112,000
