Position Overview:
Daily billing activities for Nursing Home Inpatient Accounts Receivable Department.

Experience: Three to Five years healthcare inpatient NH billing experience required.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and process the billing for all third-party payors, ensuring the timely and accurate billing for resident services.
• Follow up with payors/case managers, identifying and resolving problems with resident’s accounts relating to pending/denied authorizations for services rendered
• Follow up on rejections and partial payments from third party payors, submitting bills to other payors, ensuring that facility receives payment on all bills sent.
• Review Aging Reports and gives monthly updates as to the status of each open account in excel worksheets.
• Communicates specific issues pertaining to resident account with patients, family members or legal guardians via phone, email or fax
