Job Description
School Occupational Therapist
We are partnering with a northwest school program to find outstanding Occupational Therapists for the 2024-2025 school year and the 2025-2026 school year.
Full time, part time and FMLA positions are available.
Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:
- Occupational Therapist could be assigned a caseload that includes early childhood, elementary and middle and high school students in regular ed/resource and instructional classrooms. Caseloads will be mutually determined.
- Occupational Therapist will provide direct and consultative services to students including screening, assessing, treating, and reporting as appropriate.
- Occupational Therapist will plan and present at IEP/Student conferences in consultation with staff.
Occupational Therapist Schedule:
- Monday-Friday as per school schedule. Full time (limited part time opportunities available).
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Occupational Therapist Qualifications:
- Hold IDFPR license as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working collaboratively in a student-centered environment.
- 1-2 years’ experience a plus. Will consider a new grad with appropriate clinical experience.
- Credentials to be collected prior to and upon hire.
Occupational Therapist Work Hours:
- Follow school hours Monday-Friday; depending on the building’s hours.
- @35 hours/week. Full and part time work available.
Occupational Therapist Salary and Benefits:
- $43/hr for new grad, other salary based upon experience. Weekly pay.
- Full time employees eligible for: Medical, dental, vision, Long/short term disability, Life Insurance, 401k, Flexible and Child Care Spending Accounts. Paid Time off and sick time accrued. Virtual healthcare assistance available. Some benefits offered for part time employees.
- Up to $500 of continuing ed/materials fund available for full time employees.
