Job Description

Crisis Prevention Institute Instructor / CPI Instructor / East Coast / Part-Time

RCM Trainer / Instructor Description

RCM Health Care is currently seeking an instructor to facilitate our CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training to RCM staff who service students in K12 public schools. This is in-person and will require travel on the east coast.

Crisis Prevention Institute Instructor / CPI Instructor Responsibilities:

  • As a crisis prevention institute instructor, you will train our staff on de-escalation and crisis prevention skills.
  • You will provide training and support for Nonviolent Crisis Intervention for your facility.
  • You will prepare and provide CPI training programs, including the facilitation of ancillary programs and presentations.
  • You will serve as a resource of our Certified Instructors by providing consultation and needed materials.
  • You will be required to visit facilities in person and meet with staff and Certified Instructors.
  • You will perform other position-related duties, as assigned.

Crisis Prevention Institute Instructor / CPI Instructor Ideal Candidate:

  • Some experience training/teaching groups of people
  • Case management experience
  • Experience working as a teacher, case manager, or behavior technician is preferred
  • Experience working in the ABA field is preferred
  • A candidate based out of Maryland or New York is preferred

Crisis Prevention Institute Instructor / CPI Instructor Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 1 or more years of experience in the human services field
  • Bachelor’s Degree required in a related field
  • Experience working with children with developmental disabilities
  • The ability to demonstrate and perform specific physical intervention techniques
  • Empathy, understanding of developmental stages, and understanding and ability to utilize ABA strategies
  • Travel may be required throughout the East Coast.

Crisis Prevention Institute Instructor / CPI Instructor Pay:

  • Hourly position $17-$23 dependent on experience
