Job Description
Full-Time Special Education Teacher (ED Classroom) – Addison, IL
RCM Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in a self-contained Emotional Disabilities (ED) classroom. This is a full-time position available immediately through the end of the school year.
Special Education Teacher Position Details:
- Discipline: Special Education Teacher
- Hours: Full-time

- Setting: Self-contained Emotional Disabilities (ED) classroom

Special Education Teacher Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver instruction and behavioral support in a structured, self-contained classroom
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster student growth
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to manage behavior and enhance student engagement
- Monitor student progress and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Special Education Teacher Qualifications:
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement
- Experience working in self-contained ED classrooms preferred
- Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
Special Education Teacher Compensation:
- $36-46/hr, depending on experience
