Job Description

Director of Human Resources / HR Business Partner
Hybrid: 2 days from home
Bronx, NY

: $150k+ DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Sr Director of Human Resource Operations, the Director of Human Resources (HRBP) supports a care center/business unit/campus (business unit) to deliver a range of strategic human resources services that partner with the organization’s operations in meeting their business objectives and business initiatives. 
  • Develop short and long range planning for the business units as the HRBP is fully dedicated to internal clients, their needs and their priorities.
  • Consult with management in handling changing staffing needs, business developments, employee relations and associates’ needs to increase the organization’s effectiveness and/or efficiency, and/or to enable the organization to achieve its strategic goals. 
  • Provide guidance, expertise and coaching to leadership. 
  • Enlist and coordinate other appropriate Human Resources (HR) specialty services as needed. 
  • Strategically focus on partnering with the organization’s leadership team to drive results and spearhead outcomes. 
  • Lead and manage the people management related agenda for their business unit.
  • Lead change management and manage the HR related internal and external collaborations.
  • Identify and prepare development plans for key employees and high potential employees.
  • Actively support discussions and transfer best practices from different functions in and outside of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with Master’s degree preferred.
  • Requires three to five years of Human Resources Generalist experience or seven to ten years in one or more specialty areas.
  • Healthcare experience is highly preferred, but not required.
