Job Description
Paraeducator – Special Education Support
Location: Olympia, WA 98506
Schedule: Monday–Friday, hours vary by assignment
Start Date: 2025–2026 School Year

Paraeducator Responsibilities:

Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)

Support students in developing academic, social, and life skills
-
Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt instructional materials
-
Monitor student progress and provide feedback
-
Ensure a safe and supportive classroom environment
Paraeducator Requirements:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Completion of one of the following:
-
ETS ParaPro assessment
-
Paraeducator online training program
-
Associate’s degree or higher
-
72 quarter or 48 semester college credits
- Willingness to obtain or renew CPR/First Aid and other clearances
Paraeducator Compensation:
- $20-26/hr.
