Are you a passionate, mission-driven physician leader with a deep commitment to providing holistic, high-quality care to frail and elderly populations? We're looking for a visionary Medical Director to join our Client's team and lead clinical excellence across our PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) operations.

About the Role:

As the Medical Director, you'll play a critical role in shaping the delivery of participant-centered care. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, you’ll oversee clinical operations, guide interdisciplinary care teams, and drive performance improvement initiatives. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, optimize health outcomes, and mentor providers and clinical staff in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of participant medical care across settings, ensuring quality and safety 24/7.

  • Supervise primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinic staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and clinical excellence.

  • Manage performance and satisfaction across care teams, ensuring adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.

  • Oversee the QAPI program, drive continuous quality improvement initiatives, and monitor care utilization and participant satisfaction.

  • Develop and implement medical policies, protocols, and procedures aligned with best practices.

  • Ensure timely assessments, care plans, and high-quality medical documentation.

  • Support financial stewardship by managing budgets and evaluating key performance indicators.

  • Participate in hiring, training, compliance reviews, and strategic planning.

  • Supervise infection control activities and uphold OSHA safety standards.

  • Promote staff development, innovation, and a positive workplace culture that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Qualifications:

  • M.D. or D.O. with current state licensure and DEA registration.

  • Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; Geriatrics certification strongly preferred.

  • At least 3 years of experience in a healthcare leadership role.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience caring for frail or elderly individuals in managed care, acute, long-term care, or community-based settings.

  • Familiarity with utilization management, quality improvement, and interdisciplinary models of care.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, PACE programs, and EHR systems.

  • Skilled in financial planning, resource management, and clinical operations oversight.

  • Effective project manager with the ability to lead strategic initiatives and performance improvement efforts.

  • A natural coach and mentor who thrives in a collaborative, mission-oriented culture.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and required auto insurance.

  • Up-to-date immunizations and medical clearance.

  • Ability to pass background check and credentialing process.

If you're ready to bring your clinical expertise and leadership to a values-driven organization focused on elder care excellence, we want to hear from you!

Salary: $285k and comprehensive benefits
