Special Education Teachers for 2025-2026 School Year

Charter Schools in Chicago (west and south side of city) seek full time, Licensed (LBSI or II) Special Education teachers .

 Responsibilities:

*Teach as part of a department or grade level team as mutually agreed..
*Able to implement and support school policies, participate in orientations, meetings (staff and parent) and other conferences/institute days as directed.
*Implement school education programs and philosophy.
*Monday-Friday as per school schedule. Full time (limited part time opportunities available).
*Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Hold Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) in Special Education LBSI / II).
*Experience working collaboratively in a student-centered environment.
*1-2 years’ experience a plus. New grads will be considered.
*Credentials to be collected prior to and upon hire.

Work Hours:
*Follow school hours Monday-Friday; depending on the building’s hours.
*@35 hours/week.

Salary and Benefits:

*$39/hr for new grad, other salary based upon experience. Weekly pay.
