Job Description
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Ann Arbor Public Schools
Pay Rate: $18–$22 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 hours per day
Location: Ann Arbor, MI
Overview:
Ann Arbor Public Schools is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to support students in the classroom and throughout the school day. This is a light-duty, school-based position focused on supervision, guidance, and care support—not medical procedures.
Responsibilities:

Monitor and assist students during classroom activities and transitions

Provide gentle reminders for restroom breaks (students are fully mobile)

Support lunch and bus transitions (helping students get on/off buses and find classrooms)

Occasionally provide 1:1 support as needed

Assist in the health office with basic tasks such as distributing medications under staff direction

Participate in on-site training provided by the district
Qualifications:

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)

Experience working with children preferred

Reliable, caring, and team-oriented

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
