General Gastroenterologist
Compensation
Salary Range: $500,000 per year (target compensation)
Location: Brighton, MA

Position Summary
As a General Gastroenterologist in an academic-affiliated community practice, you will provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient GI care within a respected medical center. This role combines the personalized care of a community setting with access to the resources and academic environment of a leading Boston teaching hospital. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care, with opportunities for teaching and scholarly involvement.
Responsibilities
? Schedule / Shift

• Shift details: Full-Time (includes rotating call coverage)
• Hours per week: 40+

? Key Duties:

• Provide outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology care within a community medical center
• Perform routine GI procedures including EGD and colonoscopy
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of GI conditions, including GERD, liver disease, IBS, IBD, and GI bleeding
• Participate in rotating inpatient coverage and on-call schedule
• Collaborate with tertiary care GI teams and multidisciplinary providers for advanced cases and coordinated care

Requirements
? Education

• Required: MD or DO from an accredited institution

? Licenses & Certifications

• Required:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts

? Skills:

• Strong clinical expertise in gastroenterology and procedural care
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams
• Interest in community-based practice with academic affiliation opportunities
