A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to provide strategic HR leadership and hands-on partnership to designated business units within a complex, highly regulated environment. This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional who thrives in organizational development, change management, and employee relations, and who is comfortable advising senior leaders in a large enterprise setting.
Position Summary
The Senior HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing strategic and tactical HR consultation across staffing, compensation, benefits, employee relations, organizational development, and performance management. This individual will partner closely with business leaders to design and implement HR strategies that support operational goals, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership

Partner with business unit leadership to provide coaching, consultation, and support on leadership development, organizational effectiveness, change management, and employee engagement

Proactively develop and implement value-added HR strategies aligned with business objectives

Act as a trusted advisor to leaders by deeply understanding business challenges and translating them into effective people strategies

Align HR policies and practices with organizational goals while promoting enterprise-wide consistency and best practices
Employee Relations & Compliance

Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and state and federal employment laws

Coach leaders on performance management, corrective action, and conflict resolution

Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions when employee concerns arise

Support work with represented populations and multiple collective bargaining agreements
Talent & Organizational Development

Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure hiring strategies align with business needs

Collaborate with Organizational Development teams to implement career development and succession planning initiatives

Support workforce planning, restructuring, and reorganization efforts, including talent assessment, organizational design, communication planning, and implementation
HR Program Delivery & Operations

Serve as a liaison to HR Centers of Excellence, including compensation, benefits, training, recognition, and staffing

Manage delivery of enterprise-wide HR programs such as merit review and bonus cycles

Participate in committees, meetings, and cross-functional initiatives as requested

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices with a focus on healthcare industry trends
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or a related field

Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive HR experience

Demonstrated experience supporting organizational development initiatives within a large organization or complex business unit

Experience working with represented populations and multiple bargaining agreements

Strong knowledge of employment law, labor relations fundamentals, and core HR disciplines
Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree

SPHR certification

Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis, and reporting)
