K-12 Educational Services Senior Sales Manager
School-Based Staffing & Behavioral Health
Overview
RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a proven, hands-on sales leader who thrives in a true player-coach role, someone who can personally drive revenue while building, coaching, and leading a high-performing national sales team.
This role is responsible for the growth and expansion of our K-12 Educational Services business nationwide, selling school-based staffing and behavioral health solutions that directly support school districts, students, and communities. You will lead from the front, influence strategy, and play a critical role in expanding our footprint across the United States.
This is an opportunity for a sales leader who wants ownership, visibility, and impact, and who is energized by selling into complex school systems while developing talent and driving measurable results.
Sales Production (Player-Coach Responsibility)
- Personally close new business with K-12 school districts nationwide
- Sell school-based staffing and behavioral health solutions, including School Nurses, Paraprofessionals, RBTs, and related educational professionals
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution
- Identify and partner with the RCM RFP team to pursue RFPs, renewals, and account expansion opportunities
- Build strong relationships with district administrators, procurement teams, and special education leadership
- Represent RCM at industry conferences and trade shows, engaging with school administrators and behavioral health and school nursing leaders
- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales performance targets
Sales Leadership
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals focused on K-12 staffing and educational services
- Set clear expectations, performance goals, and accountability standards
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews, forecasting, and performance coaching
- Support team members in closing complex or high-value opportunities
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Analytics and Performance Management
- Track sales activity, pipeline health, and revenue performance using Bullhorn and reporting tools
- Manage forecasts, conversion rates, and key sales performance metrics
- Use data and insights to inform strategy, improve execution, and identify growth opportunities
- Report on sales performance, market trends, and pipeline health to senior leadership
Training and Development
- Onboard and train new sales team members
- Mentor and develop sales talent through ongoing coaching and performance feedback
- Share best practices and successful sales strategies across the team
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience, including direct responsibility for managing and developing national or multi-state sales teams, with demonstrated success driving growth within K-12 educational services or adjacent education markets
- Proven experience leading healthcare or education staffing sales initiatives in complex, regulated environments
- Demonstrated success simultaneously producing as an individual contributor and leading sales teams, with measurable results in revenue growth, client acquisition, or market expansion
- Strong lead-by-example leadership style, including active deal involvement, lead generation, and mentoring sales and recruitment professionals
- Ability to provide supervisory references who can speak to leadership effectiveness and performance in healthcare or staffing environments
- $75,000 – $100,000 annual salary plus commission
