A highly respected academic healthcare environment is seeking a Program Manager – PHS to support senior leadership and drive the execution of high-impact departmental initiatives. This is a visible, strategic role working closely with the Sr. Associate Dean/Chair and leadership team, ideal for a polished, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Program Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple complex programs and initiatives. This role blends project management, executive support, and operational coordination, requiring strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage competing priorities at a high level.
Key Responsibilities

Partner with faculty leadership and external stakeholders to drive initiatives forward efficiently and effectively

Align priorities and activities with the strategic vision of the Sr. Associate Dean/Chair

Prepare and coordinate high-level materials including presentations, reports, agendas, and briefing documents

Manage complex calendar scheduling, travel logistics, and expense reporting for senior leadership

Oversee program execution from concept through completion, ensuring timelines and objectives are met

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with leadership

Support projects and logistics for the Data Coordinating Center

Develop and maintain systems for stakeholder communication and engagement

Contribute to ongoing departmental growth, operations, and strategic initiatives
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

~3–7 years of relevant experience in program or project management, preferably in healthcare, academic, or complex organizational settings

Experience with project management tools and systems
