Job Description

Senior Revenue Cycle Business Analyst

Certified candidates with an Epic Clarity and Revenue Cycle experience required. Candidates must have experience and a certification in Epic Clarity.

Schedule: Full-Time, Remote

We’re partnering with a leading healthcare organization to identify a Senior Revenue Cycle Business Analyst with deep Epic Clarity expertise and strong revenue cycle analytics experience. This is a highly visible role supporting leadership decision-making, operational performance, and enterprise reporting across hospital and professional billing functions.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy standard and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and financial models based on defined business requirements
  • Partner closely with business leaders, project managers, and analysts to translate operational needs into analytical solutions
  • Integrate and analyze data from multiple sources, including hospital and physician billing systems, general ledger, budget, and cost accounting systems
  • Serve as a key analytics partner supporting revenue cycle performance improvement, accountability, and decision-making
  • Lead or support special analytical projects related to denials management, AR optimization, cash forecasting, and operational efficiency
  • Apply predictive and prescriptive analytics to revenue cycle workflows and KPIs
  • Develop and help standardize certified datasets that serve as the single source of truth for revenue cycle performance
  • Present insights and recommendations clearly and concisely to senior leadership
  • Foster strong collaboration across revenue cycle and operational stakeholders

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Epic Revenue Data Model (Clarity) Certification
  • 3+ years of clinical revenue cycle experience
  • Strong understanding of hospital billing and professional billing data
  • Demonstrated expertise with SQL, Crystal Reports, EXCEL and Tableau
  • Solid knowledge of relational database concepts, data modeling, and OLAP technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Health Informatics, Finance, or related field preferred)

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Advanced data analytics and data governance experience
  • Building and maintaining standardized datasets for enterprise Revenue Cycle KPIs
  • Developing root-cause analysis frameworks and predictive models
  • Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Business, Public Health, or a related field
