Job Description

Job Title: Montage Memory Care Director

Compensation
Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000 per year

Location: Bronx, NY – Onsite

Position Summary

As the Montage Memory Care Director, you will provide leadership and oversight for a specialized memory care program serving residents with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other cognitive impairments. This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care while promoting dignity, independence, and engagement. You will oversee program operations, staff development, care planning, and family communication to ensure exceptional resident outcomes and program excellence.

Responsibilities

Schedule / Shift

  • Shift details: Sunday – Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Hours per week: 40
  • Contract length (if applicable): Direct Hire

Key Duties:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of specialized memory care programs to enhance resident quality of life
  • Oversee services and care delivery for 49 memory care residents
  • Supervise, mentor, and train staff in dementia care best practices, behavioral support, and communication techniques
  • Develop and maintain individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, licensing, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent healthcare/administrative experience
  • Preferred (if applicable): Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)

Licenses & Certifications

  • Required: N/A
  • Additional certifications (if applicable): Certification in Dementia Care or Alzheimer’s Care highly desirable

Skills:

  • Strong leadership experience in assisted living, skilled nursing, or senior living environments
  • Excellent interpersonal, family relations, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and program management abilities
  • Knowledge of memory care best practices, dementia programming, and resident-centered care
