Job Title: Radiation Medicine Therapist
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $43.00 – $55.00 per hour
Location: Boston, MA – Onsite
Position Summary
As a Radiation Medicine Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate radiation therapy treatments to patients undergoing cancer care. Working alongside a multidisciplinary Radiation Oncology team, you will utilize advanced treatment technology while ensuring patients receive exceptional clinical care and support throughout their treatment journey. This part-time opportunity offers flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Schedule / Shift
- Shift details: Part-Time
- Hours per week: 20
- The schedule is every Thursday & Friday and every other Monday from 7a – 3:30p.
Key Duties:
- Administer prescribed radiation treatments safely and accurately according to physician orders
- Prepare and position patients for treatment while ensuring comfort and understanding of procedures
- Review treatment plans, dosage requirements, treatment schedules, and patient charts
- Monitor patients during treatment and assess for treatment-related side effects or changes in condition
- Document treatments, collaborate with physicians and physicists, and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements
Education
- Required: Associate Degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent from an accredited institution

Skills:
- Strong clinical and technical knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and equipment
- Ability to calculate treatment parameters and recognize adverse treatment reactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and multidisciplinary collaboration
