Job Title: Executive Assistant to the CFO
Compensation
Salary Range: $70,000 – $95,000 per year
Location: Boston, MA – Onsite
Position Summary
As the Executive Assistant to the CFO, you will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Chief Financial Officer and senior Finance leadership team. This highly visible role serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership, supporting financial operations, governance activities, Board interactions, and key organizational initiatives. The ideal candidate is a polished professional with strong executive support experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage sensitive information with the highest level of discretion.
Responsibilities
Schedule / Shift
- Shift details: Monday – Friday
- Hours per week: 40
- Contract length (if applicable): Direct Hire
Key Duties:
- Manage complex executive calendars, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, expense reporting, and executive administrative workflows
- Serve as a liaison between Finance leadership, executive teams, Board members, auditors, and external stakeholders
- Coordinate Board meetings, Finance and Audit Committee activities, leadership reviews, and governance-related initiatives
- Prepare agendas, presentations, reports, correspondence, briefing materials, and track action items to ensure timely follow-up
- Support strategic Finance projects, operational improvement efforts, budgeting cycles, forecasting activities, and organizational initiatives
Requirements
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred (if applicable): Bachelor’s Degree
Licenses & Certifications
- Required: N/A
- Additional certifications (if applicable): N/A
Skills:
- Minimum 8 years of Executive Assistant experience supporting C-suite or senior-level executives
- Strong experience managing executive-level calendars, communications, and high-priority initiatives
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
