Job Title: Registered Nurse / RN / Assisted Living Facility / Float NYC
Compensation
Fixed Compensation: This role offers a fixed compensation rate of $125,380 annually.
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Location: New York, NY – Floating between Assisted Living Facility (ACF) locations throughout Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Manhattan, and Staten Island

Position Summary
As an RN Float, you will provide skilled nursing care across Assisted Living Facility (ACF) locations throughout New York City’s five boroughs. This position supports residents and facility teams by providing high-quality, patient-centered nursing care while helping ensure continuity of coverage across locations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who enjoys variety, is comfortable traveling between facilities, and is looking for a full-time Monday–Friday position with a competitive salary and strong benefits.

Responsibilities
Schedule / Shift

  • Full-Time, Monday–Friday
  • 38.75 hours per week
  • Float between Assisted Living Facility locations throughout NYC
  • Shifts vary by facility and coverage needs and may fall between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM
  • Common shifts may include:
    • 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
    • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
    • 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Flexibility is required based on facility coverage needs.

Key Duties

  • Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments and provide skilled nursing care according to the established Plan of Treatment.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, supervisors, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement appropriate care plans.
  • Observe, document, and promptly report changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate supervisor or care coordinator.
  • Provide patient and caregiver education and supervise or orient home health aides as needed.
  • Respond to clinical needs and emergencies within Assisted Living Facilities and participate in case management, training, and performance improvement activities.

Requirements
Education

  • Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Nursing degree required; BSN preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

  • Required: Active and unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Current required clinical certifications as applicable to the position.

Skills

  • 1+ year of nursing experience preferred, ideally within geriatrics, assisted living, home health, or a related setting.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to different facility environments.
  • Vehicle required with the ability to travel between facilities throughout all five NYC boroughs.
  • Ability to commute to Brooklyn for orientation and flexibility to cover varying facility schedules.
