Application Development IT Manager – Fully Remote

Salary Range: $135,000 – $145,000 per year

Location: Fully Remote – Must be available to travel to New York City for onboarding and fingerprinting

Position Summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced Application Development IT Manager for a leading healthcare organization. This fully remote position offers an opportunity to lead and mentor a software development team while overseeing the design, development, and implementation of business-critical applications. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in .NET, C#, React, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices, along with proven leadership experience. Responsibilities

Schedule / Work Arrangement

• Full-Time, Permanent Position

• Fully Remote

• One-day travel to New York City required for onboarding and fingerprinting

Key Duties

• Lead, mentor, and manage the application development team, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.

• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, including application design, coding, testing, implementation, and ongoing support.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, architects, and QA teams to deliver projects using Agile methodologies.

• Manage DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, application security, and technical documentation.

• Evaluate emerging technologies, troubleshoot complex application issues, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and software performance.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of IT management experience leading software development teams, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

• Strong background in SDLC, Agile methodologies, and modern software engineering.

• Healthcare IT or regulated industry experience strongly preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

• No licenses or certifications required.

• Agile, Azure, AWS, GCP, or DevOps certifications preferred.

Skills

• Hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core, React, RESTful APIs, Git, Visual Studio, and AI-assisted development tools.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, database management, and application integrations.

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD/DevOps practices.

• Proven leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team development skills.

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to travel to New York City for required onboarding and fingerprinting.

• Must have current U.S. work authorization without the need for employer sponsorship. New, renewal, or extended sponsorship is not available.
