Position Summary
A reputable long-term care facility is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead and support nursing operations. This role is ideal for a dedicated RN who thrives in a leadership position and is committed to delivering high-quality care to residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, direct, and monitor the delivery of healthcare and medical services within the facility
- Provide direct supervision and support to nursing staff
- Develop and implement procedures and policies that enhance resident care and quality of life
- Ensure optimal staffing and effective utilization of nursing personnel
- Oversee and deliver healthcare-related training to ensure best practices and regulatory compliance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient care plans, making amendments as needed
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York
- Proven experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings
- Strong knowledge of current healthcare regulations and compliance standards
- Demonstrated ability to implement and uphold policies and procedures
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
