K-12 Educational Services Senior Sales Manager
School-Based Staffing & Behavioral Health
Salary Range: $75,000 – $100,000 per year plus commission
Location: Remote
Position Summary
As the K-12 Educational Services Senior Sales Manager, you will lead the growth and expansion of RCM Healthcare Services’ national educational staffing division by selling school-based staffing and behavioral health solutions to K-12 school districts nationwide. This player-coach leadership role combines direct sales production with team leadership, coaching, and strategic business development. You will play a critical role in expanding market presence, developing high-performing sales professionals, and building long-term partnerships with school districts and educational leaders across the country.
Responsibilities

- Shift details: Full-Time
- Remote position with travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry events as needed
Key Duties
Sales Production (Player-Coach Responsibilities)
- Personally close new business opportunities with K-12 school districts nationwide
- Sell school-based staffing and behavioral health solutions, including School Nurses, Paraprofessionals, RBTs, and related educational professionals
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution
- Partner with the RCM RFP team to pursue RFPs, renewals, and account expansion opportunities
- Build strong relationships with school district administrators, procurement teams, and special education leadership
- Represent RCM at industry conferences and trade shows
- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets and revenue goals
Sales Leadership
- Lead, coach, and motivate a national team of sales professionals focused on educational staffing services
- Establish performance expectations, accountability standards, and sales goals
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews, forecasting, and performance coaching sessions
- Assist team members with complex or high-value sales opportunities
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Analytics & Performance Management
- Track pipeline activity, sales performance, and revenue metrics using Bullhorn and reporting tools
- Manage forecasts, conversion rates, and key performance indicators
- Analyze market trends and sales data to identify growth opportunities and improve execution
- Report on sales performance and pipeline health to senior leadership
Training & Development
- Onboard and train new sales team members
- Mentor and develop sales talent through ongoing coaching and feedback
- Share best practices and successful sales strategies across the organization
Requirements
Education
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Education, Marketing, or related field
Licenses & Certifications
- None required
Skills
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience with demonstrated success driving growth in K-12 educational services or related markets
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing national or multi-state sales teams
- Experience selling healthcare or education staffing services within complex, regulated environments
- Demonstrated success as both an individual contributor and sales leader
- Strong leadership and mentorship abilities with a lead-by-example management style
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities
- Proficiency with Bullhorn CRM and sales reporting tools
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
