CHHA Occupational Therapist
Compensation
Salary Range: $101,925+ per year
Location: Manhattan, NY

Position Summary
As a CHHA Occupational Therapist, you will provide home-based rehabilitation services for a well-established nonprofit healthcare organization serving patients throughout Manhattan. This role focuses on delivering individualized therapy plans, supporting patient independence, and ensuring compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a home care setting.
Responsibilities

• Hours per week: 40

• Key Duties:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Complete OASIS documentation accurately and timely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as required
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote independence and functional outcomes

Requirements
• Education

• Required: Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy

• Licenses & Certifications

• Required: Active New York State Occupational Therapist license

Skills: 

• Knowledge of OASIS documentation and home care standards preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Ability to work independently in a home-based setting
• Effective communication and patient/caregiver education skills
