Position Summary
RCM Healthcare Services is recruiting an experienced Director of Corporate Compliance and Privacy for an established healthcare organization. This leadership position oversees corporate compliance, privacy, vendor compliance, and behavioral health parity programs while ensuring adherence to federal and state healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will bring extensive managed care compliance experience, strong leadership capabilities, and expertise in regulatory oversight, risk management, and organizational compliance initiatives.
Responsibilities
Schedule / Work Arrangement
- Full-time, permanent position.
- Primarily remote with periodic in-person attendance in New York City, approximately eight times per quarter.
Key Duties
- Lead Corporate Compliance, Privacy, Vendor Compliance, and Behavioral Health Parity Compliance programs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Oversee regulatory audits, compliance investigations, risk assessments, corrective action plans, and internal controls.
- Manage vendor and delegation compliance activities and collaborate with internal teams on fraud, waste, and abuse prevention.
- Develop compliance policies, reporting processes, staff training, and regulatory guidance while monitoring changes to applicable laws.
- Supervise compliance professionals, present findings to executive leadership, and promote a culture of compliance and accountability.
Requirements
Education
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Administration, or related field.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Public Administration, or related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of healthcare compliance experience, preferably within managed care.
- Experience working within a health insurance plan or managed care organization.
- Experience with compliance investigations, regulatory audits, privacy requirements, and vendor oversight.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
Licenses & Certifications
- Preferred: Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC), or Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP).
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, HIPAA, ACA, behavioral health parity, and healthcare compliance regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage enterprise compliance programs, investigations, and regulatory reporting.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and compliance tracking/reporting systems.
