Job Description

Senior Director of Product Compliance
Salary Range: $190,000 – $210,000 per year
Location: New York, NY

Position Summary
RCM Healthcare Services is recruiting an experienced Senior Director of Product Compliance for a well-established healthcare organization. This senior leadership role oversees regulatory compliance and external audit functions across multiple government-sponsored and commercial health insurance products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managed care compliance, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, regulatory audits, and leading multidisciplinary compliance teams.
Responsibilities
Schedule / Work Arrangement

  • Full-time, permanent position.
  • Remote, with occasional in-person attendance approximately 4–6 times annually.
  • Required in-person attendance may involve employee-paid travel expenses.

Key Duties

  • Lead state, federal, and integrated product compliance programs and external regulatory audit functions across multiple health insurance lines of business.
  • Oversee regulatory audits, CMS examinations, state regulatory reviews, compliance risk assessments, and corrective action plans.
  • Direct implementation and monitoring of healthcare regulatory requirements, including Medicare Advantage, Medicaid Managed Care, MLTC, and integrated products.
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify regulatory risks, develop compliance strategies, and oversee organizational audit readiness and delegation compliance.
  • Manage and develop compliance Directors, managers, and teams while presenting compliance findings and recommendations to executive leadership and governance committees.

Requirements
Education

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Law, or related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in healthcare compliance, managed care operations, regulatory affairs, auditing, or related healthcare functions.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing managers, Directors, or multidisciplinary teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of Medicare Advantage, Medicaid Managed Care, MLTC, integrated healthcare products, and New York State healthcare regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing external regulatory audits, compliance investigations, corrective action plans, and regulatory implementation programs.

Licenses & Certifications

  • Preferred: Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP).

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of CMS, New York State Department of Health, OIG guidance, and managed care regulatory requirements.
  • Proven leadership and strategic planning skills with experience overseeing complex compliance programs.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, project management, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to assess regulatory risks, develop corrective action strategies, and collaborate across departments.
