Position Summary
The Resident Services Coordinator will assist with the overall management of the Department and will help to guide our dynamic multi-disciplinary care team, in providing the best quality of life possible to our residents and their families.
Gorgeous assisted living facility located in the Bronx, NY, is currently seeking and experienced Resident Service Coordinator to join their dedicated staff. This position will be for someone with an MSW, or LMSW who want to help provide seniors with the best care possible. This role comes with amazing benefits as well as a strong compensation package.
Responsibilities
Key Duties:
- Assist in overseeing daily operations of the Resident Services Department to ensure high-quality care and services
- Coordinate and support a multidisciplinary care team in delivering resident-centered services
- Develop and implement programs that enhance residents’ quality of life and overall well-being
- Serve as a point of contact for residents and families, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with services
- Monitor service delivery, maintain accurate documentation, and support continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s degree in social work (MSW) is required, with the goal of obtaining the New York State Certification in Social Work (LMSW).
Skills:
- Experience in geriatrics and discharge planning with a minimum of two years’ experience and/or training in assessing case management and providing excellent customer services to this population
