Job Description
RCM Healthcare is looking for an Occupational Therapist to travel to different locations such as daycares and homes to deliver play based therapy to children aged 0-3. Full or part time hours.

Hourly Rate: $50.00-$55.00 per hour

Position Summary
An early intervention occupational therapist in Pennsylvania evaluates and treats infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children (ages 0–5) with developmental delays, focusing on fine motor, sensory processing, and self-help skills in natural settings like homes, daycares, or preschools. Key responsibilities include conducting developmental assessments, creating family-centered intervention plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary Individualized Education Program (IEP) or Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) teams.

Key Duties
Core Duties and Responsibilities
• Evaluations: Assess fine/gross motor skills, sensory processing, adaptive self-help, and cognitive or social development.
• Intervention: Deliver play-based, direct and indirect therapy services to promote functional independence.
• Collaboration: Partner with parents, caregivers, educators, and service coordinators to adjust plans and set functional milestones.
• Documentation: Track progress, write formal evaluation reports, and participate in IEP or IFSP meetings under Pennsylvania guidelines (e.g., IDEA Part B/C)
Requirements
Education
- Required: Master's Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Licenses & Certifications
- Required: Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License (or eligibility through the Pennsylvania State Board of Occupational Therapy).
- Current Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance.
- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check.
- FBI Federal Criminal History Fingerprint Clearance.
- Qualifications and Requirements
- • Licensure: Active Pennsylvania state license as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L).
- • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy; Master’s degree preferred by many intermediate units and school districts.
- • Clearances: Current Pennsylvania child abuse history clearance, state police criminal record check, and FBI fingerprint clearance.
- • Travel: Ability to travel locally to various family homes, community centers, or preschool classrooms
