RCM Health Care is looking for an In Home 1:1 Paraprofessional / Academic Support Coach, to provide services to school students, at a school in Oxford, PA 19363.  This is for one student and the paraprofessional would assist the student with school related tasks such as motivating the student to stay on track with attending classes, completing assignments, etc.  Services must take place in person within the students home.

Hourly Rate: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
Location: Oxford, PA 19363
Hours: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays – 9am -12pm (each day)
Onsite – In-Home

Position Summary
As an In-Home 1:1 Paraprofessional / Academic Support Coach, you will provide one-on-one educational and motivational support to a student in their home. You will help the student attend classes, complete school assignments, navigate online learning platforms, and stay on track academically. This role requires patience, organization, encouragement, and strong communication with the student, family, and school team.

Responsibilities
Schedule / Shift

• Shift details: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays = 9am-12pm each day
• Hours per week: 9-10
• Contract length (if applicable): School Year

Key Duties

• Help the student organize daily schedules, assignments, and school responsibilities.
• Assist the student with understanding and completing homework and assigned tasks.
• Guide the student through online or remote learning platforms.
• Encourage attendance and participation in live classes while keeping the student focused and engaged.
• Provide positive reinforcement and communicate progress, challenges, and concerns to parents/guardians and the supervising school team.

Requirements
Education

• Required: High school diploma
• Preferred: College coursework in education, psychology, or a related field

Skills

• Experience working with children or teens in an educational, tutoring, or caregiving role
• Strong patience, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and encourage students
• Good basic knowledge of school subjects and organizational tools
• Ability to pass a background check and provide reliable transportation to the student's home
