Job Title: Director of Practice Analytics

Compensation
Salary Range: $145,000 – $175,000 per year

Location: Manhattan, NY – Hybrid

Position Summary

As the Director of Practice Analytics, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for data-driven practice management, performance improvement, and forecasting initiatives across a large community health center. This role is responsible for leveraging clinical, operational, and financial data to support high-quality, sustainable care delivery. You will partner closely with executive, clinical, operational, and finance leaders to translate complex data into actionable insights that improve access, optimize performance, and support informed decision-making.

Key Duties:

• Lead the development and oversight of clinical, operational, and provider productivity dashboards while analyzing key performance metrics, including access, utilization, visit volume, continuity of care, and no-show rates
• Develop short- and long-term forecasts related to staffing, service demand, revenue, and operational capacity planning
• Provide strategic decision support to leadership through data analysis, workflow optimization, patient flow initiatives, and outcomes measurement
• Collaborate with IT and operational teams to enhance analytics platforms, reporting tools, data governance practices, and HIPAA compliance standards
• Supervise and mentor analytics staff, foster a collaborative culture, and support data literacy and organizational performance improvement initiatives

Requirements

Education

• Required: Master’s Degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Health Informatics, Data Analytics, Business, or a closely related field
• Preferred (if applicable): Clinical background with advanced degree and/or licensure (MD, DO, NP, PA, RN, LCSW, or equivalent)

Licenses & Certifications

• Required: N/A
• Additional certifications (if applicable): Clinical licensure preferred

Skills:

• Advanced healthcare analytics experience involving clinical, operational, and financial datasets
• Strong proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms
• Experience with EHR systems and practice management reporting, with EPIC experience strongly preferred
• Excellent leadership, forecasting, communication, and strategic decision-support capabilities
