Job Description
RCM Health Care is looking for an Education Specialist/SAI teacher to provide VIRTUAL services to middle and high school students in California. This part time, 20 hours per week. Immediate interview!
SAI teachers may be responsible for:
- Assessment planning
Working with psychologists to develop assessment plans and conducting assessments - IEP process
Being a member of the IEP team, coordinating scheduling, and initialing IEP meetings for SAI students - Instruction
Adapting content, methodology, or delivery of instruction to meet the needs of the child with a disability - Collaboration
Working with general education teachers to provide instructional and assessment adaptations and behavioral interventions - Progress reports
Providing progress reports on goals and objectives
To qualify for the role of SAI teacher in California, an individual must meet the following requirements:
- Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Have a valid California Multiple or Single Subject Teaching Credential
- Have a valid California Moderate/Severe or ESN Moderate/Severe or equivalent Special Education credential
- Have English Learner certification
- Comply with NCLB at the secondary level in Math, Science, English, and Social Science
