Director of Corporate Communications
Salary Range: $155,000 – $165,000 per year
Location: New York, NY
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days a week in NYC office and 3 days a week remote

Position Summary
A leading healthcare organization in New York City is seeking an experienced Director of Corporate Communications to lead enterprise-wide internal and external content strategy. This individual will oversee content development across public relations, social media, websites, blogs, email marketing, internal communications, member communications, and other marketing channels. The Director will partner closely with executives, internal departments, analytics and performance marketing teams, external agencies, and key stakeholders to strengthen brand awareness, engagement, and marketing performance. Responsibilities
Schedule / Work Arrangement

• Full-time, permanent position
• Hybrid work arrangement in New York City
• Regular weekday business hours with flexibility based on organizational and communications needs

Key Duties

• Lead a structured and scalable enterprise content strategy using a “create once, publish everywhere” approach while establishing measurable marketing ROI.
• Manage the enterprise editorial calendar and oversee content across public relations, social media, internal communications, websites, blogs, newsletters, email campaigns, member communications, and other digital channels.
• Partner with senior leadership, internal departments, analytics and performance marketing teams, external agencies, and key organizational stakeholders to develop communications, lead-generation, engagement, and thought-leadership strategies.
• Serve as the primary contact for the organization’s PR agency while overseeing press releases, media pitching, executive communications, articles, white papers, marketing collateral, websites, landing pages, advertisements, webinars, and campaigns.
• Lead, coach, and develop the content team while providing editorial direction, copy editing, quality control, project management, and final review of high-profile communications.

Requirements
Education

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

Professional Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in content marketing, corporate communications, public relations, or a related communications discipline.
• Demonstrated success developing and executing marketing and communications campaigns.
• Experience leading internal employees and coordinating external agencies or resources.
• Consumer and/or healthcare brand experience strongly preferred.
• Experience developing inbound marketing and digital content strategies.
• SEO experience required.
• Experience utilizing Google Analytics or comparable analytics tools.

Skills

• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, storytelling, and verbal communication skills, with strong knowledge of AP Style.
• Strong research and content-development abilities, including identifying industry trends, conducting market research, interviewing subject-matter experts, and developing thought-leadership opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to project manage, prioritize multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, attention to detail, executive communication skills, integrity, accountability, and customer focus.
