Job Description
Position: Paraeducator (1:1, Mod/Sev)
Paraeducator to provide one-on-one support to a student with moderate/severe special needs in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, dependable, and experienced in supporting special needs students in mod/sev populations.
Location(s):
We currently have 1 full-time opening in Menlo Park, CA.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1–2 years of recent experience working as a Paraeducator in a school setting
- At least 6 months of experience supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities
- Associate’s degree or a minimum of 48 completed college units (official transcript or diploma required)
OR successful completion of the CBEST or ETS ParaPro Exam (passing score of 460)
Compensation:
$25-29 per hour
Additional Opportunities: After School Instructors (Part-Time)
We also have part-time After School Instructor openings with KIPP, Monday-Friday from 2-6pm in the following locations:
